A Skill is an SOP for your AI
A Skill is one instruction file, usually called SKILL.md, that teaches the AI one job the way you do it: your workflow, your terms, your quality rules. Install it once. From then on, the AI reads it automatically whenever that job comes up, in every conversation, without being asked.

The Factory Data Analyst
Teaches the AI to handle WIP data my way: profile the data first, flag Preclosure rows, calculate NPI rates, cross-reference revenue across currencies. Without the Skill, that's a ten-minute briefing every session. With it, I paste the export and go make kopi.
